David Fuhrer Bio

David Fuhrer, President of Production Central, is a television studio owner, Actor and Filmmaker. He is also the Director / Producer of The Buddha — In His Own Words, a play which debuted at the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA).  David works in television, theater, film, voice-over and radio. His film works, mostly short form comedy, have garnered many awards and have shown extensively in festivals and on TV around the country.

David’s stage and studio clients include:  Bravo, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", Sex & The City, American Cancer Society, Clairol, Law & Order - Criminal Intent, Amazon, Verizon, VH1, The History Channel, MTV, Director's Guild of America and many many more.

As an actor, David was the lead in the comedy film Being Scott Lochmus, and recently in Barton's Crossing at the Cherry Lane Theater. David studied directing with Paul Sills and Mike Nichols at The New Actors Workshop, where he attended a two year conservatory program.  He graduated from Brown University.
